Microsoft developing Age of Empires Online

At the Gamescon 2010 conference in Cologne, Germany, Microsoft Corp. announced the first series of Xbox LIVE games that would launching on Windows Phone 7 this holiday season, as well as the newest addition to their famed “Age of Empires” franchise, “Age of Empires Online.” They also announced a new version of their “Microsoft Flight Simulator” franchise, entitled “Microsoft Flight.”

Speakeasy, because it is a nerd at heart, is most interested in Age of Empires Online,” which is an extension of the historical strategy game “Age of Empires.” The premise of the game is for players to build their own civilizations and interact with other players and friends around the world. The first village that can be grown into an empire revolves around the bustling Greek culture (We realize saying that we like “Age of Empires Online” because of its (initial) Greek setting is akin to saying we like “Red Dead Redemption” because of the American West backdrop, but that’s how we feel.) Developed by Robot Entertainment, the game features a slew of both old and new features, which include cooperative multi-player quests, original story lines and of course, an ever-growing city that continues to prosper (or fail) even when the player is offline.

Though the Age of Empires Online site doesn’t seem to be up and about yet, you can sign up for the beta version of the game.

Mob Wars - Tips for Facebook Game

So here are my Facebook Mob Wars tips trick and cheats

First you should try to gain experience. Basically when you start playing Mob Wars on Facebook try to do jobs only - that way you will gain experience and make money.

Invite all of your friends to join your mob. Make sure you invite the maxium amount of people per day because the more people you invite the more money you will get. (this is not valid anymore)

Just do the jobs and let your energy regenerate and keep doing jobs. Once you have some money...say 60,000, you should try and buy a city. Go to city and buy an empty lot and a restaurant. If you do that you will get money by the hour.

The more cities you buy, the more money you make per hour. So keep doing jobs, and buying cities.

When you reach level 10 then I would suggest you start to fight. Go into you stockpile and look at the weapons and cars.

To get some good weapons you will need around 150.000.

Buy an Armed Range Rover for 90,000. Buy an assault rifle and some body armor. You can start to fight people and by doing so you will gain experience and sometimes money. So do jobs, build cities, fight, and INVITE.

Always attack people who have hotels and casinos because when you attack them and win you could potentially win around $70.000 per fight
